Live Casino Table Limits Explained: Min/Max Bets
Live casino table limits are the smallest and largest bet a live table accepts on each bet type, usually shown as a range such as "Min RM5 – Max RM2,500" (an example, not a real table). The minimum is the least you can put on a bet spot in one round; the maximum is the most that spot will take. This guide explains how minimums and maximums work, why two tables of the same game can have different limits and how to read the limit panel before you place a chip. Limits only decide how much you can bet. They do not change the game's rules, odds or payouts.
Minimum and maximum bet
- Minimum bet: the lowest amount accepted on a bet spot for one round. A chip below the minimum, or a total on that spot below it, is not accepted.
- Maximum bet: the highest total accepted on a bet spot for one round. Once you reach it, extra chips on that spot are refused.
- Per round, per spot: limits apply to each bet spot in each round. Betting on two spots in the same round means each spot is checked against its own limit.
Limits differ by bet type
On most live tables the main bets and the side bets have separate limits. An example baccarat panel (numbers for illustration only):
| Bet spot | Example minimum | Example maximum |
|---|---|---|
| Player / Banker | RM5 | RM2,500 |
| Tie | RM5 | RM300 |
| Pair side bets | RM5 | RM250 |
Bets with a bigger payout usually carry a lower maximum than the main bets. The same idea applies at roulette (a single number has a lower maximum than red/black) and at sic bo (a specific triple has a lower maximum than Big/Small).
Why tables have different limits
- The provider sets them. Each live game studio sets limits per table, and the same game can run at several tables with different ranges.
- Table type. Lobbies often show standard tables next to tables with higher minimums. Both run the same rules; only the bet range differs.
- Game format. Faster formats and side-bet variants can have their own ranges.
A table with a higher minimum is not easier to win on. The cards, wheel or dice work the same at every limit; the only difference is how much each bet can be.
How to read the limit panel
- Look at the lobby tile. Many lobbies show the table's range on the tile before you join.
- Open the info or limits button at the table. It lists the minimum and maximum for every bet spot.
- Match your chip size to the minimum. If the smallest chip you plan to use is below the minimum, pick another table.
- Check side bets separately. Their maximums are often lower than the main bets.
- Re-check after moving tables. Limits do not carry over from one table to another.

FAQ
What are table limits in live casino?
Table limits in live casino are the minimum and maximum bet a live table accepts on each bet spot in one round, such as Player and Banker in baccarat. They are usually shown as a range on the lobby tile or the limit panel. Limits only decide how much you can bet, not the rules, odds or payouts.
Why is the Tie maximum lower than the Banker maximum?
The Tie maximum is lower than the Banker maximum because Tie and other side bets pay more per win, so tables usually cap them lower than the main bets. In the example baccarat panel, Player and Banker go up to RM2,500 while Tie stops at RM300 (an illustration, not a real table).
Do high-limit tables have better odds?
No, high-limit tables do not have better odds. The rules, odds and payouts are the same at every limit; only the bet range differs. A table with a higher minimum is not easier to win on, because the cards, wheel or dice work the same at every limit.
What happens if my bet is below the minimum?
If your bet is below the minimum, the table does not accept it for that round. A chip below the minimum, or a total on that spot below it, is refused. Add chips to reach the minimum, or choose a table with a lower minimum before the next betting window.
Where can I see the limits of a Go2win table?
You can see the limits of a Go2win table on that table's own limit panel, opened with the info or limits button, and often on the lobby tile before you join. Each table shows its own limits. For anything not shown there, log in at go2win.bet, then check with live chat: what live chat confirms is what applies.
